Fieldforce is an industry leader in delivering water-saving services and advice. This may be in conjunction with energy-saving programs, or as stand alone projects. Our years of experience have helped us develop a wealth of knowledge in this particular area, meaning we are often able to come up with a more efficient solution that may not have been considered before.

Residential Demand Management
The increasing need for water conservation has led a number of Australian water utilities to implement large-scale residential demand management programs. Fieldforce is proud to have worked on several of these, including the largest such program in Australia.
Water Fix is one of Fieldforce and Sydney Water's flagship programs. Under Water Fix, Fieldforce offered Sydney Water customers a service which included installation of water-saving showerheads and aerators, together with the fixing of leaks (time and tools permitting). Almost half a million homes have benefited under this Sydney Water program performed by Fieldforce-trained, licensed plumbers. The purpose of the program is to generate ESCs (Energy Saving Certificates) for Sydney Water, allowing them to offset their carbon emissions as they move towards their goal of being carbon neutral by 2020.
After ten years of the Water Fix program and several re-tenders by Sydney Water, Fieldforce is proud to have remained their implementation partner of choice.

litres of water per year
One of the primary reasons for the program's success has been our ability to offer a complete end-to-end implementation. This begins with outbound call centre activity and the recruitment and training of plumbers, followed by work scheduling, device installation, and finally comprehensive reporting. Our own internal software system was adapted to provide a direct interface with that of Sydney Water, enhancing the data-sharing capabilities for reporting and auditing purposes.
Fieldforce is proud to be a part of helping to save nearly 8 billion litres of water a year in the Sydney metropolitan area. This equates to an average of almost 21 000 litres per year for the average participating household, equating to a saving of approximately $80 a year in energy and water bills.
Commercial Demand Management
Water utilities have also been implementing commercial demand management programs, calling upon Fieldforce's expertise to deliver initiatives such as Smart Rinse and BizFix.
The Smart Rinse program targeted restaurants and take away food shops in Sydney, aiming to reduce the nearly 6 billion litres of water a year these businesses use to rinse dishes before washing. Water efficient Smart Rinse valves were installed by one of our licensed plumbers and minor leaks also repaired while the plumber was on site.
Fieldforce supplied Sydney Water with a complete end-to-end solution for the Smart Rinse program. Our role included handling leads, enquiries and scheduling through the call centre, recruitment and training of subcontractors, management of field operations and follow-up reporting. In addition, Fieldforce managed the complete supply chain solution for the valves.
Fieldforce installed nearly 4000 Smart Rinse valves leading to a saving of over 1 billion litres of water per year. Our role in the similarly-executed BizFix program led to an additional saving of almost 300 million litres of water per year.
